January Favourites

Wow, are we really a whole month into 2017 already?! That was so fast! It’s crazy! Being the long and more frugal month that January is, I haven’t bought a great deal of things to talk about here in my January favourites, but I do have some goodies in among the ones I will talk about.

Lancome Juicy Shaker – Piece Of Cake

I’m a huge fan of the Lancome Juicy Shaker’s as it is, I spotted this colour while over in America and hadn’t realised it was at that time exclusive to America. Sods law! Naturally I was kicking myself for not getting it while I had the chance. Recently while browsing my local Lancome stand you can imagine my joy at finding Piece Of Cake among the shade selection! Finally this little beauty is mine and what a stunning shade it is! Definitely my favourite out of the many Juicy Shakers I own. If you are yet to try these I suggest you get down to your local Lancome stand pronto.

Models Own Nail Polish

I recently bought a few of the Hypergel nail polishes from Models Own and I have to tell you, I am so impressed by them. They last really well without chipping on my natural nails. I am one happy customer, so needless to say I will be returning to pick up more shades. They have a beautiful selection of colours to choose from. I also picked up a chrome colour and a glitter which I have yet to try, but I expect good things from them also.

Garnier Hand Cream

My hands suffer horrendously from winter weather. I also have eczema and when I say I suffer, I mean my hands are constantly raw, cut, cracked and bloody, not to mention how incredibly sore they get as a result. Nice, huh? I am not often blown away by hand products because I rarely find any that work well for me. I came across this and thought I’d give it ago, it had been recommended to me and despite being sceptical I bought it anyway, what the hell. I was actually really surprised by how thick the formula is and gentle also, with regular usage I did actually see some improvement in the condition of my hands. I will 100% repurchase this in the future.

Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them

I was a huge fan of this from start to end, maybe I’m biased as it is linked to Harry Potter but I loved this film. Fantasy/magic are my kind of films so I did expect to enjoy the movie. This is easily the best movie I watched throughout January. I’m not sure whether it is still on at the cinema anymore as I saw it late on, but if it is, I definitely recommend giving it a watch if like me, you also enjoy fantasy / Harry Potter films.

TV Shows

The Undateables

I am so late to the party on this but having only watched this for the first time in January, I have to say I loved it. The people who feature are some of the happiest, sweetest and most lovely people on TV. They make me happy to see their positive outlook on life. Positivity breeds positivity. More of that please.

Fashion / Accessories

Zara Jacket

From the second I saw this jacket I was in love. It’s so warm and cosy, I love the detailing with the brown piping, the faux fur collar and gold zip detail. One of my favourite purchases this month. It’s been keeping me cosy this January!! They also have other colours if the mustard yellow isn’t for you.

Harry Potter Keychains & Bag – Primark

When I saw the Primark Instagram page share a photo of two Harry Potter keychains I knew I had to have them, and I wasted many a trip checking for their arrival. Finally, they are mine!! At only £3.00 a piece how could I not have them. I also spotted a Harry Potter bag that I needed also, because why not? They also had pins and if I had any use for them, they’d also have been mine.

What have you been loving throughout January? Let me know in the comments section.
