Hallelujah!! Is anyone else doing a little happy dance because it is now OFFICIALLY SPRING TIME! I cannot get enough of all of the gorgeous flowers popping up, beautiful yellow daffodils which signify the start of Spring for me, snow drops, crocuses, bluebells and my personal favourite cherry blossom trees to name but a few. Finally we have lighter nights, only getting lighter and dare I tempt fate but also some warmer weather! As we wave goodbye to yet another month having passed us by at a rapid pace, it also means that it is time to recap all of my loves from the month of March to share with you.
This is my third product from this line, it has only recently launched I believe but I expect it will be as popular as their other products and for good reason. You massage this into dry, cleansed skin and almost instantly you can feel bitty little clumps forming under your fingertips. Said bitty, little clumps are actually dead skin that the product is peeling away as I massage it into my skin, gross, yet satisfying! I’ve found that it takes quite a bit of rinsing to completely remove any product and dead skin from my face, but once dried off its like a fresh layer of skin has been revealed. My complexion looks so bright and fresh from just one use. Its definitely made a fan out of me.
I’m a big fan of the face masks so when I saw L’Oreal were launching cleansers I was excited to try them out. I am really enjoying using this cleanser, its nice and gentle on my skins and it leaves it feeling thoroughly clean and my complexion brighter. The one thing that I don’t love is how strong the smell is in the cleanser. I can live with it though. I’m going to pick up the other two cleansers they launched having liked using this one so much.
VO5 Mousse and Sea Salt Spray
I feel like I constantly struggle to achieve any volume in my hair, especially at the roots, it always looks so flat. I had been keen to get my hands on the sea salt spray for a while and when I finally spotted it there was a 3-for-2 offer running. Happy days, so I got two sprays and a mousse. I have been so happy with the results from both products, after blowdrying my hair as normal I have so much lift in the roots and great texture that holds through styling. Definitely impressed with both products.
Original Source Cherry and Almond Shower Gel
This shower gel smells divine! It smells good enough to eat, like a delicious little cherry bakewell tart! I’m already a fan of the Original Source shower gels, I am loving all of their new scents they have recently brought out, but this one has to be my favourite by a country mile. I feel like a bit of creep admitting to this but I’m forever opening the top just to smell it! Its so yummy!
New Look Pinafore & Denim Jacket
Both grabbed from the sale rack because who doesn’t love a bargain. The pinafore cost me, wait for it, a mere £4.00! YES FOUR POUNDS!! Hella cheap!! I love it, I’d have bought it for full price if I’m honest. Its a lovely blush pink shade which is ideal for Spring I feel. My jacket wasn’t quite the steal the pinafore was but from £39.99 down to £18.00 its still a bargain in my eyes. I love the colour of the denim and because it has the light cosy faux wool lining its perfect for this in-between season weather, and lets face it, probably a good all year jacket given the weather the UK gets.
Beauty And The Beast
I’ve been looking forward to this since it was announced way back when! It most certainly did not disappoint. Disney made a wonderful job of this adaptation, I thought the cast did an amazing job and Emma Watson made a brilliant Belle. Who knew she could sing like that! I found myself singing away to all of the songs for the rest of the day after watching it. I think I’ll have to go back and catch it in 3d now! Any excuse right! I wonder what they will take next and turn it into real life! What do you think? The Little Mermaid? Aladdin maybe? Either way I can’t wait!
I finally got around to watching this after meaning to for some time. I immediately re-watched it the very next day, thats how much I loved it. Such a great story with an even better message out there that we can all take something from. I loved it. I felt so happy for Neil Wilding at the end, the first fox!! If you know, you know.
Home Bargains Stationery / Accessories
Walking into Home Bargains is like a bloggers paradise! Beautiful stationery, candles, flowers, trinket trays, cute teacup and saucer sets, marble and rose gold heaven! I’ve picked up some beautiful things this month! I bagged myself a pair of pink, roses gold and marble note books, a pink to list note pad, a sleep mask, a coin purse, a set of three marble rose gold quote candles, artificial peonies and tulips, a gold teacup and saucer, pink and rose gold watch and a little trinket dish.
Adult Colouring Book
I’ve fancied one of these for a little while now but never actually done anything about it. I saw this one while out shopping for like £3.00 and grabbed it. I’ve felt a little more stressed and anxious lately so I’m hoping that when I sit down to get creative with this it also helps me to relax a little which I’ve heard they are good for.
