Sephora Haul

For beauty lovers Sephora is a little bit like a one stop shop for many a beauty product. Especially if like me you live in the UK and don’t often get the chance to go to their actual stores! I mean why aren’t they open here in the UK? Please Sephora! Take my money, I beg of you! For me Sephora is like a beauty addicts heaven! I’m not even exaggerating, I am obsessed with the brands they carry, not to mention their own range. I can’t get enough. Can you imagine if they were open over here in the UK, I’d be forever poor for giving them all of my money! I decided it was high time I paid them a visit and had a little online splurge!! I love a haul post, particularly a beauty one, even more so a Sephora beauty one! In my add to cart frenzy, here are some of the goodies I snagged!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette

I mean talk about a palette of dreams! Seriously, what more would you want in a palette other than self refilling pans every time you hit the bottom! Its a truly beautiful palette, so well put together right down to its packaging. Anastasia and Norvina certainly pulled it out of the bag with this one! I cannot wait to see what else they have in store for us!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick

Pure Hollywood, described as a pale mauve nude is one of my favourite shades in the range, it suits my skintone beautifully if I do say so myself, grabbed myself a duplicate to keep me going.

Veronica, described as a taupe mauve is a gorgeous cool tone colour, I love it on it’s so pretty!

I love the ABH liquid lips, they are so long wearing you rarely have to re-apply. They have a gorgeous shade selection. I will definitely continue to grow my current collection.

Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick – Bow N Arrow

One of the more well known shades from the KVD line and its easy to see why, it is a beautiful fawn nude that would suit most skin tones. I’ve been meaning to get my hands on this for some time and finally I have. Mission complete, but now I want to get more. Fortunately her range can be sourced from UK retailers. Yaaaasss! Totally digressing but I really must get the white concealer too! Hi under eye highlight! I see you.

IT Cosmetics Your Skin But better  CC Cream SPF50

I wanted this for a long while but I struggled to find a way which didn’t cost the Earth to get this over to the UK. Finally it is now available on Sephora! Yay!! I’ve not tried this yet but I can’t wait to use it, I love that it is has such a high SPF included, the perfect summer natural foundation.

IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores

This powder does exactly as it says on the tin, it magically makes your pores looks totally none existent when you sweep it over your skin. Its a fine powder that blends into the skin so effortlessly!

Clinique Cheek Pop Nude Pop

Correct me if I’m wrong but to my knowledge this particular shade isn’t available here in the UK, or at least I’d been unable to find it. I love a nice nude, natural coloured blush and I already have a couple of other shades from the Cheek Pop collection, as soon as I saw there was a Nude Pop, it was a swift click on the add to cart button. I love it even more now that its here.

Too Faced Melted Matte Liquid Lips Cool Girl / Child Star

Both nudes, obviously because what other shade would I wear. I think I need to branch out and wear more shades! Child Star is the lighter nude of the two, Cool Girl is a slightly deeper nude. I’m quite fair-skinned so they show a little darker than a nude against my skintone. They feel so comfortable on and as most liquid lips they boast a long wear time, plus the packaging is kinda fun too.

Tarte Tartiest Lip Paint Namaste

This is a beautiful nude shade. Infact most of the lip colours on this haul are, but hey, I’m a nude kinda gal, what can I say. This is a nice creamy formula which I don’t find drying at all. It lasts all day with little need to re-apply. I only wish I ordered more shades. Next time.

Sephora Lipstick No.10 Miss You

One of my most used daily lipsticks is from the Sephora line and I love it, its a rich creamy formula which moisturises my lips all day. I picked up a different shade within the nude family in keeping with the colour theme of this haul.

Sephora Lipgloss 04 Perfect Nude

What is a nice nude lipstick without a nice gloss to go with? I picked up a true nude gloss to pair perfectly with all of my nudes. God know I have plenty!

Sephora Eye Kohl 07 Infinite Beige

I like the principle behind a while eye kohl on the waterline to brighten, but on me I feel like I look a bit odd, I thought a nude kohl would be the happy medium I was looking for and as it turns out I was right. The product is of a nice creamy texture so it applies to the eye easily and I find it to be long-lasting and it really brightens and opens my eye up by taking this simple step. I hedged my bets on this by ordering a couple, fortunately I was right to do so as I really like how looks.

Tatcha Rice Enzyme Exfoliator

I’d been eyeing this up for a little while and this brand is only available via Sephora and their own site which both ship from America so as I was shopping with Sephora it made perfect sense to snag this exfoliator. Its made up with rice enzyme and it is gentle to the skin, it doesn’t contain any harsh particles which can be highly abrasive to our skin. I love how clean and fresh my skin looks and feels after using this.  I definitely plan to repurchased, it also makes me want to try other products from their range.

Sunday Riley Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream

Tidal promises to deliver an intense water drench with two forms of hyaluronic acid and tamarind extract so your skin looks youthfully hydrated and plumped. Papaya enzymes smooth and exfoliate while alpha-arbutin isibly brightens the appearance of hyperpigmentation and dark spots. Tidal increases hydration by up to 68 percent in as little as 15 minutes for up to 24 hours of continuous moisture. This description combined with reading glowing reviews and already having a love for brand solidified my resolve to get my hands on this. I’m yet to try it but I fully expect to love it as much as the other Sunday Riley products I use.

Tarte Frixxion Stick

I first noticed this when Tarte promoted it a lot when it first launched and I was intrigued. I like the idea of it, basically its a solid stick that you twist up and then you swipe it on the main parts of your face, dampen your hands and massage in to exfoliate. Its nice and easy to carry away on a trip being a solid product. I like it once its on, I find it harsh when I initially swipe it on my skin, I could be too heavy handed which might be the problem.

  1. Great post! There’s a few things on your haul that are on my wishlist for my first Sephora trip when I go to New York. I cannot wait! Apparently Sephora is opening in the U.K. At Westfield in London?? No idea how true that is but it’d be amazing!!!

  2. Honestly.. I love Sephora but I just can’t go in there and buy more than 1 product at a time, otherwise I’ll go bankrupt lol. It’s way too pricey for some of the things they sell, but Too Faced is one of my favorite brands! Never tried Anastasia Beverly Hills but I have heard many good things about it!

  3. Oh my god you have some really amazing bits there. I am in fact very much JEALOUS. That palette is calling me so bad but it’s just the money to get it! I know I shouldn’t spend my money but when payday comes, I’m getting my hands on that palette because I’ve had my eye on it for a very long time. All those products look so pretty and amazing and the shades of those liquid lipsticks look lush girl. They’ll look fabulous on you! Lovely post, I love everything about your blog girl. xx

  4. This is so dangerous for me to read as they have massive and plenty Sephora shops here in Shanghai so I’m willing to splash out all my cash in them so I don’t regret it when I return to the UK. I’m not a big fan of lipsticks but the eye shadow palette looks gorgeous and reading your review on the enzyme exfoliator has definitely got me intrigued and possibly making a sneaky purchase next time I’m in Sephora.
Thanks for sharing your views on these lovely products!

  5. I think we need to start a petition to get Sephora in the UK haha. I hope the previous comment about it coming to Westfields is true! If not, one at Blue water would be perfect!

  6. You picked up some lovely bits! Bow n Arrow is next on my list to buy from the Everlasting range! It’s a gorgeous shade. I’m dying to make a Sephora order, here’s hoping I win the lottery soon haha!

  9. I love the tarte stick, I gently swipe it down my nose where I really need some exfoliation most mornings and just wet my fingers and massage it before removing it with a damp cotton pad. It’s one of my favorite quick fixes, sometimes my makeup doesn’t go on smoothly on my nose so I just remove the makeup on my nose, use that, and redo it! Also, your photography is awesome, so bright and cohesive!

  10. I wish tarte was easier to get in the UK! I love all the lip colours you’ve picked, they’re beautiful!
I think Sephora should definitely come to the UK, like you I’d be completely broke though!
