Cohorted Beauty Box November

Some of the products I received in this months box were completely new and unheard of for me. Boxes like this one offer a great way to sample new products and brands we otherwise might not try. This month the products I received are:

Figs & Rouge Brightening Primer *

I’d not heard of this brand prior to receiving this box, but after reading the words “brightening primer” my eyes lit up. I love that glow from within look you get with an illuminating primer and at this time of year my skin needs a helping hand. This primer is a beautiful pink shade with a hint of rose gold shimmer that blends into the skin to reveal a brightened complexion with a healthy glow.

I’m really enjoying using this as part of my makeup routine, I have fair skin and this primer works well on me, I feel that shade is very universal and would be suitable for all skin tones.

Too Faced Melted Liquid Lipstick – Melted Coral *

Already being a fan of this product I was excited to find it inside my beauty box. The shade I received isn’t one I usually go for, but I do believe they have a variation of colours within the boxes. Although it isn’t a shade I might generally go for, it’s definitely good to have and try to take me out of my comfort zone. In the Summer this colour will look divine with a golden glow.

Plum & Ashby Honey & Jojoba Oil Hand Cream *

Another brand I’m not familiar with. I really love the scent of this hand cream, it’s very light with a hint of sweetness from the honey. The cream is of a rich, thick consistency which at this time of year is everything I look for. Plum & Ashby have formulated this hand cream with a magical concoction of corn poppy, cocoa butter, shea butter, coconut oil and vitamin E to deliver deeply moisturised, nourished, happy hands.

The packaging feels very luxurious as the cream is presented in a silver aluminium tube bearing a simply chic label with classic black writing. It is also cruelty free which I know can be a huge selling point for many of us, along with being paraben free which is another plus.

New Cid Cosmetics – i-intense Mascara *

Until now I hadn’t heard of this brand, but on first impressions I like the packaging. Volumising mascaras are my personal favourite. The wand is thick with slightly tapered ends and it coats my lashes evenly giving them extra body and volume, this can be further intensified by applying more mascara.

Lancôme Visionnaire Advanced Multi-Correcting Cream *

I’ve not really delved into the skincare offerings from Lancôme and I’m not really sure why? I can only imagine I’ve found myself distracted by other brands and products. I was excited to find to sample size tubes of their Visionnaire Advanced Multi Correcting Cream which promised to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and pores. As both are skin concerns of mine I favour products which offer a reduction in both so I am keen to see how this cream works out for me.

It has been formulated with Hyaluronic Acid to deeply hydrate the skin and hold in moisture. I really love the use of hyaluronic acid in skincare and I have definitely noticed a change for the better since introducing it into my routine.
