The Christmas adverts have been on, the radio stations have began to play Christmas songs, and Christmas decorations are beginning to pop up in homes. Oh and of course, it’s DECEMBER! The festive season is officially upon us.
With the big day racing towards us at an alarming pace, the shops begin to get that familiar rush of Christmas shoppers, they are full of hustle and bustle with the buzz of Christmas in the air. This can sometimes make shopping for presents a stressful, and arduous task.
There are endless gifting options available to us, especially as so many brands create a multitude of gift sets, all of the choice can be a little overwhelming. Well fear not, I’m hoping this guide will do some of the work so you don’t have too. I have created a gift guide for her to offer some inspiration for the ladies in your life. These are all gifts I would love to receive and there is a variety of items included to hopefully have a bit of something for everyone.
A great idea for skincare junkies. Winter offers up the best time to indulge in products that really help our skin stay healthy and radiant. Glamglow are one of my favourite brands to allow me to do this.
This set costs £42.00 for a full size 50g jar of the cult product Supermud, and you also get three 15g tube samples of Gravity Mud, Thirsty Mud and Youth Mud all at no extra cost. This is a great value set for GlamGlow lovers as you’re getting four for the price of one item. This is one of my all time favourite face masks and it would be great for any skin type.
This set contains some of Glossier’s best-selling skincare products, Milky Jelly Cleanser, Priming Moisturiser and Balm Dotcom which is a multifunctional body salve. This set cost £35.00, but you can get 10% off your first order with this link. The items in this set will work well on any skin type and it already comes beautifully packaged from Glossier in a protective pink ziplock bag, inside a white presentation box. Minimal effort! Bonus!
This set just screams out Christmas with all of the glitter and sparkle! This would make an amazing gift for the beauty lover in your life. The set costs £25.00 for three mini sized liquid eyeshadows, you get two gorgeous shadows and one glitter. I think the colour selection in this is stunning and perfect for festive season party makeup.
MAC Cosmetics have created a gorgeous holiday collection for us. This lip bag contains a lip pencil, a lipstick and a lip gloss all full-sized products too which makes for a great buy. Nude lip products are pretty much universal and will suit almost everyone. You can’t really go wrong with this set in my opinion. The rose gold bag included is equally as beautiful as the products inside.
The set costs £32.00. MAC also offer a gift wrapping service too, an extra bonus!
Bath and body treats make perfect presents at this time of year. There isn’t much that beats a relaxing soak in the bath, followed by a delightfully scented body creme. The Laura Mercier bath and body products are some of my favourites. You get a sense of luxury with them. There are an array of scents, each as wonderful as the last. Creme Brûlée is my personal favourite! It smells good enough to eat.
This set costs £35.00 for a rich body cream, honey bath and a wooden honey dipper.
Perfume is always a great fail safe gift, and Jo Malone perfumes come so beautifully packaged and feel like we’re getting the gift of luxury, or at least I feel that way. I love English Pear & Freesia and feel it would work great for so many people. Of course Jo Malone has a huge range of scents so the choice is yours. You can go for either 100ml priced at £90.00, or 30ml priced at £45.00. This also comes boxed complete with bow in a gift bag so you don’t have to worry about wrapping.
A beautifully presented set for the makeup lover. You get four face brushes, and five eye brushes all contained within a stunning marble holder. Marble and rose gold go together like Ant & Dec, they just work! This set has everything included to do a full face and eye makeup. It is also vegan and cruelty free which I know is a big selling point for some people. This set costs £45.00 which for what you get I feel is a great price point.
Wireless headphones are a great gift, no more pesky wires becoming entangled on things and nearly ripping your ears off! There’s been many a time I’ve caught my arm in the wire at the gym.
Some phones are also being manufactured without a headphone jack so wireless headphones are really invaluable to the music lover.

You can never go wrong with a beautiful piece of jewellery for Christmas. It really makes for a thoughtful and special gift, and as a woman, it’s always well received. Buckley London have some stunning pieces available on their website. My personal favourites are their new Bayswater collection in rose gold. The pendant costs £30.00, and the ring £35.00.
Maybe a little unconventional, but this is a great addition to the home and you can change it up to read anything you like. It’s actually quite therapeutic to sit and create different quotes and sayings on this. I could sit for hours!
You could even gift it with a personalised message on the board ready to be unwrapped on Christmas morning if you want to be extra.
The board is black felt with a solid oak frame, you get 300 letters, numbers and symbols included. The board costs £29.00 for the 10×10. It can be wall mounted or free-standing.
Other colours currently available are grey, duck egg and pink, there are also two board sizes if you have a lot say.
Hot drinks and winter, they go together like peas and carrots. (If this doesn’t make sense, you obviously haven’t watched Forest Gump). Whether it be tea, coffee or hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream, this cute personalised gold initial mug will be the perfect accompaniment for any hot drink. At only £4.50 it makes for a great stocking filler.
Happy shopping loves!
