A Good Night Sleep With Feather & Down

Feather and Down truly know the meaning of a good nights sleep. To be well rested, restored and to wake feeling rejuvenated. There’s nothing quite like the satisfaction of waking after a good quality nights sleep. Sometimes life can really get in the way and with so much of our lives revolving around having a phone in our hands, switching off in time for bed doesn’t always come easy. I can feel tired and ready for bed, switch the light off and get tucked up and suddenly my mind wakes up and there’s a million and one thoughts rushing back and forth as everything else falls silent. We’ve all been there.

Lack of sleep, and poor sleep have so many health problems associated with them. One of the main ones initially being our mental health and general wellbeing. If I have a poor night sleep I feel awful the following day. Basic functionality becomes hard work, I feel forgetful, incredibly tired and my mood notably low.

Feather and Down have really honed their craft and they understand the science behind a good quality sleep. They have taken the time to create a range of products and sleeping aids to achieve that ultimate state of relaxation, and in turn deep sleep.

Having found my anxiety levels rising and my sleep rate falling, I began researching products to help with relaxation while encouraging sleep naturally. It wasn’t long before I came across Feather and Down. I loved the sound of their products they have great reviews to match. I headed into my local Boots to pick up some products, and I am so pleased I did.

They have a variety of products to help achieve that great night sleep we all seek. They use a blend of soothing lavender and relaxing chamomile essential oils to infuse their products which I have to say smell absolutely divine. If calm had a scent, this would be it.

After much deliberation and opening of bottles and lids to inhale the delightful scents I finally settled on three purchases, one is a set with four mini items which gives me a perfect opportunity to test out a wider range of their products. I did notice a lot of their products had won awards and had features in well-known magazines also. I was eager to try out my new products.

One thing I always turn to help find that inner calm and relaxation is a hot bath. So I naturally gravitated towards their bath essence which is essentially a bath soak, and the bath sleep salts. They smell so incredible and it’s so soothing to immerse myself in a hot bath with added salts or essence. The scents definitely help me to unwind and relax in preparation for bed time.

The third and final item I got was more of a four in one. I opted for the Sweet Dreams Travel Set and it allowed me to use four products, three of which are travel size and one is full-size. Included in this set is the melting shower cream which smells as heavenly as the other products, it’s lovely and creamy and it feels hydrating too, not to mention it leaves your skin scented with the delights of both lavender and chamomile.

Next up is the luxurious sleep butter, it’s a rich and creamy butter that nourishes my skin. As it’s a travel size I tend to only use this on my upper body so I am better able to benefit from the relaxing scents while in bed. Once this is finished I fully intend on purchasing the full-size butter because I really love it so far.

The full-size product you receive is the sleep balm which I put on my pulse points. I find the scent is really long-lasting with the balm and I don’t need to use a lot to get all of the benefits. It’s small enough to pop in my bag for the days you need to lower the anxiety levels. It has such a soothing scent.

Last but most definitely not least and this might be my personal favourite is the pillow mist. I prefer to spray this before I get in the bath to allow time to dry in. It smells incredible and it’s the most calming scent whilst lying in bed. Another products I’ll be repurchasing with the full-sized counterpart once I finish this bottle. I honestly can’t recommend it enough.
