Similarly to my daytime skincare routine (you can read it here), I give you my evening routine. With the exception of my Clarisonic, cleanser and one of the eye creams I use everything else is different. I use retinol in my PM routine, you can only use this at night as the retinol can react with daylight and have an unpredictable effect on your skin. I also opt for a heavier moisturiser, sometimes even a sleep mask. Like my day routine I do have multiple moisturisers on the go as they all bring different things to the party.
Makeup Remover – Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm
So first things first, I remove any makeup and dirt from the day. I go for Clinique Take The Day Off as its so nice on my skin and melts away any makeup I’ve got on my face. It can be used as eye makeup remover also. I’m sometimes go for face wipes too, I try not too but sometimes its just easier. I tend to use the Simple ones.
Face Brush – Clarisonic Aria
I religiously use this every morning and night, this has got to be one of the biggest game changers I have ever introduced into my skincare regime. Being oily combination I feel I get a really thorough cleanser using my Clarisonic. I wet my skin, then the brush head and put the cleanser directly onto it, rub it in and then I use it all over my face.
Cleanser – First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser
I have been using this cleanser now for a couple of months and from the get go I loved it. Its a foaming cleanser and it leaves my skin feeling completely clean without and oily residue left over. Cleansers are one of the parts of my skincare that I tend to change up on a regular basis, but having found this one which I love I definitely won’t be giving this one the boot when I reach the end of the tube!
Toner – Peter Thomas Roth Un Wrinkle Turbo Line Smoothing Toning Lotion
A real multitasker, this toner cleans away any impurities whilst targeting the visible signs of ageing. Formulated with a potent blend of 18 anti-ageing neuropeptides and peptides, it activates your skin’s natural anti-ageing mechanisms to reduce the appearance of deep wrinkles and expression lines. Meanwhile, moisturising hyaluronic acid and antioxidant vitamins A, C and E help to protect your skin against damaging free radicals, whilst 24 karat gold soothes your skin and provides anti-inflammatory benefits to relieve redness and irritation. I have definitely seen a difference in my overall skintone and appearance since using this. I love it, I immediately bought a second bottle when my first ran out. This one is definitely a keeper and one of my favourite skincare finds!
Serum – Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II
This has been in my regime for years and I really do love it. It keeps my skin looking fresh and plumped while holding back any early signs of ageing. My skintone appears more even too. Definitely a firm favourite and for good reason.
No7 Protect And Perfect Advanced Serum
Another product I’ve had in my routine for a while. This serum is rich in pro-vitamin A, hyaluronic acid, a complex of antioxidants, alfalfa, rice peptides, vitamin C, extracts of mulberry and ginseng combine as a unique formula to help combat free radicals generated from environmental stress. I found it very effective not long after my first use and I have loved it ever since. They also have an advanced version of this serum which is targeted at 30 plus.
Eye Cream – Eucerin Anti Ageing Hyaluron Filler Eye Treatment / Coconut Oil
While I let the products absorb into my skin I move on to the all important under eye area. My current eye cream of choice is by Eucerin and I am happy with the results from it. The under eye area is a lot thinner than the rest of our skin so a delicate touch is key, I use the finger beside my little finger to apply eye cream as I have been told is the one with the lightest touch and I always pat my product into the skin, never ever rubbing or dragging my skin. Granted I do look a little crazy but it is all worth it for wrinkle free skin.
Moisturiser – Dior Hydra Life Creme Sorbet Pro-Jeunesse / Glamglow Thirstymud / The Body Shop Drops Of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask
Similarly to my morning routine I also use multiple moisturisers, but each brings something different to the party so I switch between them all regularly. My Dior is my more used one because it is a regular night cream, it is my first time trying this moisturiser and I do like it, and the formula works well for my skin.
I use the Glamglow Thirstymud between 2/3 times a week to give my skin a boost of hydration, and I leave it on overnight. It smells good enough to eat! My skin looks fresh, bright and plumped by morning. I’m a big fan of this mask. I always decant it into a travel jar to use when I fly and it keeps my skin hydrated for the duration of the flight. Its like a little drink for my skin.
I also use the Body Shop Bouncy Sleep Mask a couple of times a week too, I really like this product, I definitely feel that my skin looks plump and replenished after wearing this.
Lipbalm – Nuxe Reve De Miel
This is my all time ride or die lipbalm, and believe me when I tell you I have tried so many lip products, so for me to say that about one specific product is a big deal. I never skip lipbalm as part of my skincare routine, I carry this in my handbag and apply throughout the day also. Its so long lasting and makes my lips so soft and smooth. I never suffer from any dryness or chapping when I use this.
Facial Spray – Mario Badescu Facial Spray
Since introducing this into my routine I have fallen in love with it. With an infusion of aloe, herbs and rosewater it is incredibly hydrating and soothing for even the most sensitive skin. I often find myself grabbing it and misting my face throughout the day. Its a great little pick me up and if you enjoy rose scented products, then you will love this! Another great thing about it is the price point! Definitely recommend this baby to anyone’s skincare regime.
Facial Oil – Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Oil
Like my morning oil it is also the final step in my skincare routine. Luna is hands down my favourite night oil of the ones I have tried, but I won’t lie to you, its scent is somewhat pungent, a bit like inhaling into a bowl of potpourri. It is also deep blue in colour, so a light hand is necessary else you may look like a smurf. A little goes a long way so a bottle should last you a while. It is packed with potent retinol complex to combat fine lines and wrinkles. It leaves my skin looking plump and any fine lines visibly reduced along with adding vital moisture to my skin. I honestly can’t speak highly enough of this product. I really love it.

Ive just started using the Sunday Riley Luna oil. I agree with you, I don’t particularly like the smell or the colour. But Caroline Hirons says its good so I thought I would give it a go. I love how it makes my skin feel. There are a few products here I haven’t tried yet, so now I have a new shopping list!!

Your skincare routine looks fab. I haven’t used GlamGlow in SO long, I think I need to re-invest
Wow! This is such a thought out skin routine! I’m terrible for leaving my makeup on or just slapping some moisturizer on! I need to invest in a routine like this.

Definitely looks like you’re taking awesome care of your skin! Love the products you chose. I’ve heard such good things about the Clinique balm and Sunday Riley products. I use the Proactiv+ line and I really want to try and add some more skincare in to help with my dry patches, dark circles, etc. but I don’t want to break myself out! 🙁 Lovely photos as well xx
