July Skincare & Luxury Favourites

Welcome to my July Skincare & Luxury Favourites post.

Oh my goodness, I can hardly believe we are now in August! I can finally say that autumn is next month and I can switch up my decor with pumpkins galore. Yes, I am that person and honestly, I’m so here for it. As cliche as it may be, I love autumn and burning pumpkin spice candles as much as possible.

It’s been a couple of months since I sat down to share a monthly favourites post. I kind of feel like I’ve lost all track of my routine I had earlier on in my furlough. I’m trying hard to get back on track and one big thing for me is to blog more consistently.

Speaking of favourites, I’ve tried out a lot of skincare lately and I’ve really levelled up my routine and I’m over the moon with the results. For this month’s favourites, you can expect to see skincare focus heavily and hopefully you find something you might love as much as I do.

Tucked away amongst the skincare might be a luxury purchase or two. I managed to snap up a couple of items from Louis Vuitton which are hard to find and quite frankly I couldn’t help myself. That said, they are smaller pieces rather than handbags in my defence.

Shall we take a look at what’s been tickling my fancy this month?

Louis Vuitton Mini Pochette Accessoires – Damier Ebene

I’ve had the Mini Pochette on my wishlist since I began adding luxury pieces to my wardrobe. I’m a huge fan of Louis Vuitton canvas pieces and this is a great multifunctional item. The only issue is that 99% of the time they’re out of stock both online and in boutiques. Client services weren’t able to help me track one down either as they’re in such high demand.

However, after some relentless stalking of the website I managed to purchase the Mini Pochette in Damier Ebene. I love that the Pochette has a gold chain which means I can use it in a few various ways. I typically use it as a catch-all inside my bag but if I’m nipping out to run errands I tend to grab this with all of my necessary things inside. For being a small item it does fit a surprising amount inside. I’ve bought a full-length gold chain to attach so that I can use it as a supermini bag too which I think looks so cute. One of my favourite things about the Damier Ebene canvas is the gorgeous red interior and the carefree treated leather trim.

Louis Vuitton Key Pouch – Monogram

This is my second piece from Louis Vuitton and much like the Mini Pochette, it can be used in different ways. I was on the hunt for a cardholder when I kept seeing this popup. Despite being named a key pouch I actually keep my cards inside along with my house key attaches to the D ring. Again, like the Mini Pochette, this is surprisingly roomy for what it is. It comfortably fits 10 cards with room to pop in my house keys. It could also double up and be used as a catch-all and keep smaller items inside. I’m a big fan of SLG’s and this one is such a great versatile piece to have in my collection. The Monogram is such a staple print that goes with everything.

Beauty Pie Super Drops High-Intensity Hydration

The clue is in the title, these really are super drops and they do wonders for my skin. Packed with hero hydrating ingredient Hyaluronic Acid alongside black oat Aqua Rich extract, water-binding Saccharide Isomerate and Ficucell Vita. It is this cocktail of ingredients that make this formulation ultra-hydrating whilst also being soothing and improving firmness and elasticity. The texture is very light and runny which is the best kind when it comes to rehydrating serums. Since I began using this product I have noticed a big difference in the overall hydration of my skin not to mention it looking plumper with a healthy glow. I only use 3 drops peruse and it makes such a huge difference, I cannot get enough of them.

Ark Skincare Hydration Injection Masque-75ml*

Sticking with the theme of hydration this month in my skincare routine I have another super product to give an honourable mention to. I use this masque after I cleanse and leave it on the skin for around 20/30 minutes. My skin drinks up this hydrating cocktail and it looks visibly plumped and restored with a healthy glow. This masque really packs a punch and would be great for all skin types giving it the ultimate pick me up.

Beauty Pie Superdrops High Intense Hydration

Omorovicza Queen Of Hungary Mist

Can you tell I’ve been on a mission to rehydrate my skin as much as possible throughout July? Another incredible way to rehydrate as part of my skincare routine but also as a quick hit of hydration on the go is to use a mist. One of my all-time favourite mists is Queen Of Hungary mist by Omorovicza. It instantly refreshes my skin while helping to bring balance and maintain long-lasting hydration. I carry a bottle in my handbag for use on the go and I’m utterly obsessed with this mist. It is a permanent fixture in my skincare routine.

The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution

I’m a big fan of using an acid toner and glycolic acid being one of my most used. Glycolic Acid is an alpha hydroxy acid that exfoliates the skin. This 7% toning solution offers mild exfoliation for improved skin radiance and visible clarity. The formula also improves the appearance of skin texture with continued use. I find this gentle enough to use daily although I do mix and match between this and other acids. I love how refreshed my skin feels after using this and it really works to improve my overall complexion to reveal a more youthful glow. On top of being a great product, it is super affordable too. The formula is vegan/cruelty-free and without alcohol, silicone or oils.

Caroline Hirons Skincare – The Ultimate No-Nonsense Guide

This is a skincare bible, what Caroline Hirons doesn’t know about skincare isn’t worth knowing. I love her wit, no-nonsense, straight-talking approach as she walks us through the ins and outs of all things skincare. Now, I like to think I’ve got a pretty good handle on skincare but that didn’t stop me learning a lot from this book. Even though I have finished the book I often find myself referring back to certain sections. It covers everything from what we should and shouldn’t use, how to use everything, skincare to fit every lifestyle, what we should use in our routines for every age group, how to manage skin types and certain conditions and a whole lot more.

Panasonic Facial Steamer

This is a little bit extra when it comes to skincare but hey, we all love our little luxuries right? This is like a spa facial at home and I’ve been really loving adding this into my skincare routine. Thanks to its Nano-Ionic Technology where Nano-sized particles 18,000 times finer than regular steam particles allow moisture to be easily absorbed improving skin hydration from the inside out. The fine steam particles also help increase high shock protein stimulation natural collagen production visibly enhancing skins elasticity and smoothness. I’ve really noticed an improvement in my skins overall appearance since using this and with a combination of the facial steamer and my other products, my skins hydrations levels have improved hugely. You won’t get benefits like those from sticking your head over a bowl of hot water that’s for sure.

So that pretty much wraps up my July skincare & luxury favourites post. What have you been loving throughout July?
