Space NK Advent Calendar – The Beauty Anthology

Once upon a time, the count down to Christmas Day was marked with a chocolate treat hidden behind the door of a cardboard calendar. Don’t get me wrong I still have a chocolate advent calendar because who doesn’t want chocolate for breakfast throughout December?!

A simple chocolate calendar no longer satisfies the appetite of beauty lovers. Now it is all about the beauty advent calendar and every year the competition gets more fierce. Every year we see more brands creating their own and choosing one becomes ever more difficult. With a range of calendars and prices, there is something for everyone and every budget.

My personal favourites have to be multi-brand calendars. They offer the perfect way to explore new brands and products. Today’s post is about one very specific calendar and after looking into the calendars on offer for 2019, at great length might I add. It is, of course, the Space NK Beauty Anthology Advent Calendar.

Space NK have taken the traditional advent calendar and put a magical twist on it. The storybook inspired Anthology Calendar tells a festive tale day-by-day. Split into four volumes to see us right throughout December. In each volume, it takes us through chapters, each with its own story behind the great within. A lot of thought has gone into this calendar and each gift has been placed with good reason. From party prep to festive nights out, to pampering following on from too much partying.

Priced at £195 it is most definitely a premium calendar. It does cost less than last years calendar that said. They have included some incredible luxe brands and the overall value is over £550.

OHHHHH EMMMM GEEEEE!! How about that?! What an incredible calendar and I love the thought that has gone into it. Every gift has been placed in its specific place with its own unique story. There are some brands included that I cannot wait to try. Some of the brands I am personally most excited to try are Oribe, Malin + Goetz, IGK, and 111Skin as they’re new to me. To tell you the truth, I’m excited about the whole calendar. This could well be my favourite of 2019.

It might be pricey but you do get a great return on investment. The products and brands included in this, not to mention the generous sizes have blown me away. This is, without doubt, one of the very best calendars on the market for 2019. If this is within your price range I can’t recommend it enough.
