It’s might have only just gone Spring, but my thoughts are on Summer holidays! That’s right, the countdown to August 15th is well and truly underway and I’ve already began holiday clothes shopping! The shops are full of all manner of summer clothing just waiting to be snapped up.
My main haunt for a holiday bargain is of course, good old Primark. I’ve come to learn it’s best to buy things when you find them in Primark else you might never see them again! Freshly decked out in holiday and summer attire their rails are fit to burst!
I managed to pick up some great key holiday pieces with ease as it’s so early in the season everything was fully stocked! It was bliss! I made sure to take full advantage of it! The items I picked are a variety of both Spring/Summer style clothes and holiday clothes.
The first items I sought out were shorts, because we’re heading to Florida shorts are a must, especially for the parks! I grabbed four pairs. Burgundy embroidery patterned ones, mustard coloured shorts with a dark floral pattern, black and white pattern shorts and a plain khaki pair. That should be me all set on the shorts front I’d say.
I picked up a couple of swimsuits, a gorgeous bluey green one with Santa Monica written over the front, and I couldn’t resist the black and white vertical stripe with Micky Mouse on the front, how perfect for Florida could it be?! I also bought a white kimono with tassel detailing to pair with my swimsuits for the day time, or to dress up for the evenings. You can’t beat multitasking clothes for a holiday.
The remaining items I bought could be worn both in the UK and on holiday, when I say in the UK I of course mean the few sporadic days of Summer time we actually get. The final bits I got were a light blue cropped jumpsuit with tie straps, a red floral tea dress, a floral / leafy playsuit and last but not least a pair of rose gold sandals, they have a padded sole too so hopefully they’ll be comfy on. Must. Not. Wear. Before. Holiday!

Primark seem to have such lovely summer bits in, I’ll have to pop in before my holiday in June to see what I can get my hands on!

I think you’ve convinced me to take a trip to my local Primark! I usually only spend 10 minutes max, buying the simple basics and never actually look into the clothes, but will do next time!

These are all really lovely! I was in Primark yesterday but my only worries are the material they use. Some I find really make me sweat =/ But all your clothes look so nice! I did pick up a few things for my April holiday and they did well but I never know whether to be picky or not in Primark!
