Christmas Gift Guide Take 3: Gift Sets

Ok, so this post wasn’t planned at all! I actually only ever had the intention of sharing one gift guide post this year. When it came to picking out what to include, coupled with the recent Black Friday sales turned into a shopping frenzy! An expensive shopping frenzy at that. So in the knowledge that pretty much everything in this post is something I’ve actually bought myself to use personally. You can be sure that I am only including what I consider to be the best sets out there.

In this gift set specific guide you’ll find a lot more skincare than anything else. I’m going though something of a skincare obsessive phase right now and I’ve hardly wore any makeup. I know, I know, I call myself a beauty blogger. Pah!

Nevermind! Going into 2019 I will make a better effort to include more beauty. Until then, let’s get stuck into the goodies in this post.

When it comes to sets I find that you either love them, or hate them. I think a set is generally good value for money. You get to try more products out before committing to the full-size. Finally and let’s just be completely honest, a set is way more presentable than a single item.

This set has a great trio of colours with each being very different to the last. You will find full-size Legendary Queen and The Queen in matte and The Duchess in K.I.S.S.I.N.G. Leave this under the tree and you’ll score serious brownie points.

The Body Shop Oils Of Life Collection

A firm and longstanding favourite has to be The Body Shop. They have some incredible products and as a brand they have amazing ethics! A great all-rounder for everyone. Being a huge fan of their skincare, it would be rude not to give them an honourable mention in my gift set gift guide post. The Oils of Life set includes, Facial Oil 30ml and Intensely Revitalising Cream 50ml which are both vegan and full-size. Infused with three cold-pressed, seed oils, black cumin, camellia and rosehip seed oil they rejuvenate the complexion.

Drunk Elephant The Littles

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and probably the busiest too. The bags in which the products are tucked neatly inside of are a generous size and I have made good use of past sets I’ve unwrapped. Last but by no means least is a gorgeous gift set from Nivea which includes Indulgent Moisture Honey Shower Cream 250ml, Indulgent Moisture Orange Shower Cream 250ml and a shower puff. Nivea indulgent moisture shower creams are my favourite in winter as they aren’t drying at all. If anything my skin feels more nourished when I use them. The honey one is my favourite! I love fresh shower scrunchie so any set which includes one is always a winner for me. A deliciously scented and affordable set suitable for anyone.
