When it comes to innovative skincare devices, FOREO is the brand that springs to mind. Having already established themselves in the skincare world with some of their devices gaining cult status FOREO has more than proven their worth.

In today’s post, I would like to introduce you to one of their latest offerings, the FOREO Bear Mini.

What Is The FOREO Bear Mini?

So we all know the benefits of working out, right? Well, the FOREO Bear mini is essentially a workout for your face. This facial toning device uses microcurrent and T-Sonic pulsations to exercise the 65+ muscles in our face. It promises to deliver brighter and firmer skin all from the comfort of your own home.

The Bear Mini has three different levels of intensity you can select yourself. It has a built-in anti-shock system so that it won’t give you a mini electric shock. This is definitely a feature I appreciate which other devices on the market do not have. The Bear Mini is designed for targeted use rather than the entire face. The Bear offers both targeted and full facial and is rechargeable via a USB connection. The colour options are Pearl Pink and Lavender.

The dimensions are 57mm x 56mm x 32mm. The Bear Mini comes with a charging cable and stand.

How Does It Work?

This fits into your skincare routine after the cleansing and toning steps. Ensuring the skin is dry you apply a conductive serum or similar product to your face. To activate the Bear Mini press the button on the back and select your intensity level by pressing the button to increase each level. As this is a targeted device it is specifically designed to be used on the areas around the mouth and cheeks. That said I have used it all over without any issues despite it not being designed for this use.

You can use it manually as mentioned above but I personally feel that it is best paired with the app. FOREO have both Apple and Android compatible apps available to download for free. You connect your device via Bluetooth and sync your routine to your app. The app talks you through the process and the motions best advised to use the device.

Would I Recommend The FOREO Bear Mini?

It’s a strange sensation initially I must admit but I quickly acclimatised. It felt more tingly around my mouth than anywhere else. The device glides across the skin with ease and it actually feels really nice to use.

With daily use, I could see a noticeable change in my complexion. My skin looked firmer and more toned with my fine line appearing reduced. I felt that my features looked more sculpted, particularly my cheekbones and my jawline. It didn’t take too long to begin noticing these changes either which was a pleasant surprise. Much like working out this device only yields results when used regularly. Once you stop so will the improvements. It is simple enough to fit effortlessly into a skincare routine without being a cumbersome extra you tire of quickly. It is well worth sticking with, in my opinion when you consider the great results.

I used the device with the recommended serum FOREO also sells and I’ve been delighted with my results. FOREO is probably my favourite brand for skincare devices having tried and tested 4 from across their range.

So to summarise, yes, I would highly recommend this device. It is a great way to achieve firmer and tighter skin without a trip to a Beauty doctor and it costs a fraction of the price.
