With a notable chill in the air, and the green leaves turning warm, rich shades of red it’s that time again. Autumn. Having been spoiled to an unusually warm and sunny summer the changes that autumn bring are even more noticeable than ever. Our heating has been on already, the hot bubble baths are in full swing and I’m going through hot drinks like they’re going out of fashion!
I personally adore autumn, for the most part. Some of the things I don’t particularly care for are the days becoming shorter and the impending onset of Winter weather. Sort of weird since I actually enjoy wrapping up in cosy layers. Autumnal colours are my favourite, everywhere looks so picturesque adorned in a blanket of burnt oranges and red tones.
The turn of the new season sets the wheels in motions for a few changes to be made, firstly around the home. No sooner has the clock struck midnight on September 21st and the house is adorned with pumpkins and leaves, while scents of warm clove candles burning fill the rooms. I can’t get enough of the autumnal scents and decor. I already have a good selection of candles to choose from, but you can never have too many!
Leaves are falling, Autumn’s calling
Annoyingly the UK doesn’t seem to go as crazy for all things Autumn as the US! Even more annoying, my favourite shop for home scents is Bath and Body Works which is tricky to get here in the UK. I took FULL advantage of my recent holiday to Florida and I made sure to stock up on three wick candles and plug-in refills! I made sure to order while there was a promotion on so I could double up my candles for the same cost!!
Five candles, six wallflower refills, four car scentportables and one body cream later I was pacified! If it weren’t for a baggage allowance I could have easily brought back three times as many candles! It’s about time Bath and Body Works set up shop in the UK don’t you think? Or at least offer UK shipping! There isn’t a UK equivalent to their candles that I’ve managed to find, and I have done some searching.
Let’s start with my personal favourites, the three wick candles! I’m in love with them, they last so long and the smell from them lingers long after they’re out. Bath and Body Works make the best autumn candles ever!!

Sweater Weather Body Cream – Inspired by Golden Autumn Leaves, Bright Blue Skies & Crisp Apple Slices
If you’re a fan of the Sweater Weather candle, it is worth mentioning that the body care products smell nothing alike. However, that’s not to say they’re not equally delicious in their own right! The body care range is crisp and autumnal with delicious notes of crisp apple coming through. Having tried it myself the scent description actually sums it up perfectly.
Finally to round off my autumnal haul I bought some of the magnetic leaves and a ceramic pumpkin to adorn my candle lids. They have some of the cutest seasonal candle accessories I just couldn’t help myself.
As you can see, I do have some favourites which I picked up in more than one product because you can never have too many amazing autumnal scents to fill the house! I’m only sorry I didn’t get more, but you know, baggage allowances and all. Super annoying!

If like me, you live in the UK, you can find a few different groups on Facebook full of sellers with brand new, current products from Bath and Body Works. Alternatively you can use a forwarding shipping company to accept packages and send them on to the UK. Where there’s a will, there’s a way. Nothing is going to come between me and my love of Bath and Body Works!

I didn’t realize how spoiled I am having Bath and Body Works so easily accessible! I love the sweet pumpkin scents around this time of year. The winter scents are already out, and I can’t wait to start burning some of the cinnamon apple scents! So glad you were able to stock up while you were here though!

I love lighting candles, especially with the days getting shorter. They give a lovely cosy feel. The scents you have sound like they are really great for this time of year. I think the Caramel Apple and Caramel Pumpkin swirl would be my favs.
Such a shame they are not available in the UK!

I love bath and body!! Your pictures are amazing, love how you laid everything out!! I love pumpkin apple, and flannel probably the best for fall!! They have another one called Cinnamon Spiced Vanilla that is perfect for fall, but it’s not normally advertised for fall. Great post, again, love the photos! 🙂
I still haven’t taken my yearly pilgrimage to bath & body for fall scents. Kids are keeping me busy. But thanks so much for giving me a heads up on what to look out for this year. Hopefully, I get to go soon.
