Primark Haul – My Top Autumn / Winter Picks

Spoiler!! We have a good old Primark haul here!! Grab a snack, and sit tight!! Sorry in advance for making you want to go all spendy!

Does anyone else use a new season as the ultimate excuse to go and buy new things? New clothes, new makeup, new skincare. Where better to hit for all of these things than Primark!! Soon you will ask what can you not buy in Primark.

This particular trip to Primark started out innocent enough, honestly! I had every intention of taking a look around their new autumn offerings and leaving without getting spendy… ha yeah right! Of course that would go to plan!

Two doubled up big bags later, both full to the top, I was done. Although I have to say I could have went crazy and bought up all of the autumn clothes! Autumn clothes and colours are my absolute favourite so I was on to a losing battle before I even set foot into the store! I mean, going into Primark for a look, does anyone actually do this?! I didn’t think so. Especially when the rails are bursting with new season threads! Who was I trying to kid?!

Orange, Grey & Cream Chunky Cable Knit Jumper

Oh hey there snuggly, cosy goodness! A chunky sweater is like wearing a hug. Who doesn’t want that! The oversize chunky knit is a key, staple piece everyone should have in their wardrobes at this time of year. This one is the perfect autumnal shade and I honestly love it! The length is perfect for me, the right length that it could be worn with tights, or jeans equally well. Another thing I love about it is the roll top neck, the ultimate in all things cosy! There is nothing I don’t love about this and I’m actually thinking about going to hunt it out in some other colours too! This in burgundy would be to-die-for, but is 4 a bit excessive?

From here on out, don’t expect to see me wearing anything else.

Well expect from the stuff I mention below…. No favourites here… Hmm!

Grey Jumper

The fit of this jumper is so flattering, it is the right amount of baggy without swamping my small frame and making me look like I’ve just raided my Dad’s wardrobe! The colour is gorgeous, who doesn’t love a classic grey jumper in their collection?! An absolute must! Slightly shorter at the front than the back it looks gorgeous with all outfits, and it feels so soft!

Grey is a colour that you can pair up with anything, literally anything. I defy you to find a shade that grey won’t match up with. You won’t do it.

Black & White Zig Zig Stripe Jumper

This might be my favourite item from the entire post! I loved this the second my eyes glanced it hanging on the rail. Lending itself beautifully to being dressed up or dressed down for a more casual look. The perfect, versatile cosy jumper for any occasion! The white material is quite fluffy so it also has a textured like appearance, all adding to its charm.

Yellow Mickey Mouse Sweatshirt

I’m kind of obsessed with mustard and yellow tones, they’re so perfect for autumn, and I mean, Mickey Mouse! Who doesn’t love Mickey Mouse. This sweatshirt was far too cute to not buy! Primark have so many incredible Disney things in stock right now, clothes, nightwear, homewear, jewellery! What’s more is it’s all super affordable too so you can go as crazy as you like!!

I can totally see this jumper perfectly teamed up with some mom jeans, converse boots and a cute little backpack for some serious 90s vibes! Ooohh, what about some crimped hair too? I went too far!

Grey Stripe Jumper

Designed to be slightly cropped, which for me being short makes it a good fit. I love the bold stripe and combination of white, burgundy and navy stripe against the grey. Another of my favourites from this post and I can’t wait to see what outfits I can pair this with. I’m thinking a pair of blue denim mom jeans and the leopard print trainers! Maybe a hat thrown in for good measure! I also think it would be perfect with a skirt and wool tights! So many options!

Green Pinafore

Ok, so if you tuned into my blog around this time last year it was pinafores galore! Ok, maybe that’s a tad dramatic but you get the picture. I wore them a lot and they definitely had a few honourable mentions in and around my blog and social media platforms. With that said it would have been damn right rude to have left Primark without a new pinafore to take pride of place in my wardrobe. Not wanting to be at all rude I sought out a gorgeous dark green pinafore, a colour I had yet to own. Totally justifiable! My favourite for this time of year has got to be the classic corduroy pinafore! Partnered with wool tights, and a stripped long sleeve ribbed top, autumnal outfit heaven!!

This leading me on nicely to…

Striped Ribbed Top

Yes, the ultimate BFF of the pinafore, a long-sleeved, striped ribbed top!! This is cropped which makes the arms look like those of a chimp. I don’t tend to go for a cropped tee because no-one wants to see my tummy, but this is for pinafores so its ok. It has dark orange frill detailing around the bottom and on the cuffs which really set it off. The perfect accompaniment to the humble pinafore.

Mustard Ribbed Top

Why buy only one long-sleeved ribbed top when you can buy two! Unable to think of a good reason not to buy it, coupled with the fact that I wanted it, into the basket it went! This mustard shade is another favourite of mine for this time of year. Odd really when you consider that I don’t overly like the primary shade yellow. Mustard however, I’m here for all day long!

Leopard Print Trainers

Like so many of us, I too am obsessed with leopard print and I am so here for its big comeback! Heres hoping it’s here to stay thats all I’m saying. We’ve all gone mad for Bet Lynch’esque leopard fashion and I love it. No longer associated with the tacky outfit choices of Janice from Friends ohhhh my goddddddd (sorry not sorry), we all can enjoy it. Hallelujah! Unable to resist both a bargain, and leopard print, and trainers for that matter I couldn’t not buy these. I’m still impressed I managed to find them in my size, normally everyone else beats me to it!

Oatmeal Beret

The classic beret! Not just any old beret, this beret had a cute little bow on it. I didn’t actually own beret before buying this and I’m not really sure why. Adding this to any outfit instantly gives it classy, chic vibes. The oatmeal colour means it works so effortlessly with any outfit. I also got this in a classic black but I have no idea where I’ve put it!

Brown Check Scarf

What accessories collection would be complete with an oversized scarf for autumn and winter I ask! New season means a new scarf and this brown check one is the perfect addition to my collection. I love how much a chunky scarf brings to an outfit. This one I feel will compliment any outfit beautiful giving it some texture and adding cosiness.

Pom-Pom Hat – Dark Green & Mustard

Why have one pom-pom when you can have two, and why have only one hat when you can have two? Unable to think of any good reason why I got the same cute double pom-pom hat in two colours, because why not! Both colours are perfect for the autumn and winter and whats more, I don’t have hats in these colours, with two pom-poms. Totally justified, uh-huh. So I give you my new dark green and mustard pom-pom hats. Over using the word pom-pom much? Pom-pom.

Pom-pom.

So that brings us to the end of this haul and I think its fair to say I’m well covered on the jumper front. Not to mention hats for that matter. So they’re my favourite picks of the new season, have you been in recently and picked up any yourself?
