The Leesa Mattress: A Better Night Sleep For Everyone

Sponsored Content

We’ve all been there, you know those mornings when your alarm is sounding in your ear and you feel like you haven’t slept a wink! You then spend the rest of the day clock watching, counting down the seconds until you can be reunited with your bed. No matter how many cups of coffee you down you still can’t shake the tiredness.

Getting a good, sound, night sleep is invaluable and so important to us, mentally and physically. When we sleep our body uses this time to renew, repair and regenerate itself. It can only do this when we achieve a deep sleep.

There’s nothing better than waking up and feeling well rested, fresh and ready for the day. Without fail, I always find I am far more productive after a good sleep. I was finding myself falling into a routine of having a poor night sleep, and I knew it was time to invest in a new mattress. I was sure that this was the sole reason behind my uncomfortable and anything but well rested nights.

You can imagine my sheer delight when the lovely team at Leesa contacted me to ask if I’d like to try their mattress. I had read many a review and I was familiar with the brand. I couldn’t wait to try it out and hopefully be reunited with a good sleep once more!

About The Mattress

The Leesa mattress has been carefully and thoughtfully designed from the inside out using a unique combination of performance foam. The mattress is comprised of three layers of foam. The first is Avena cooling foam to provide the ideal airflow to prevent an uncomfortably warm night. The second, pressure relieving memory foam which contours to your body. The third and final layer is dense core support which adds strength and support to the mattress.

One really great selling point about the Leesa mattress is how it is delivered. It is so simple, easy and most importantly, hassle free! It arrives on your doorstep, in a box. What size box would fit a mattress I here you ask! Well if Mary Poppins did mattress boxes, this would be it! The size of the box is incredibly deceptive, I was adamant a double mattress couldn’t possibly be tucked inside a box I’d just about fit into. But there it was, all vacuum packed, folded in half and rolled away inside.

It’s so easy to assemble, if that is the right word? It is as simple as just four steps, unbox, position on the bed, unwrap and watch it expand. Easy peasy lemon squeezy! It amazed me to watch it expand as I freed it from its airtight packaging! It more than tripled in size, and after being left on the bed for another couple of hours it had doubled in size again. The mattress is covered in a four stripe cover design which is unique and iconic to Leesa. It is one of the most recognisable features of the mattress and the brand.

You can buy in complete confidence with Leesa’s 100 night no obligation trial. If after 100 nights you’re not satisfied, Leesa will take your mattress, donate it to a suitable charity and provide a full refund. The Leesa mattress range starts at £450 for a single.

About Leesa

Leesa sleep have one very simple, but very important goal: to help people get a better night’s sleep. And who doesn’t want that, right? Originally starting out in the US, and after great success they have now branched out across the pond, here in the UK. In addition to aiming to help us all sleep soundly, they also give a lot back too. For every ten mattresses sold, Leesa donate one to help support charities for homeless people, those seeking refuge from domestic abuse or trafficking. To date they have donated well over 300,000 mattresses to charities worldwide, 30 of which are here in the UK. They feel that everybody deserves a better night sleep regardless of their situation.

As if that weren’t incredible enough, Leesa also plants a tree for every mattress they sell. Leesa have partnered with Arbor Day Foundation and together they aim to have planted one million trees by 2025. The world is under increased pressure and strain and it’s heartwarming to see big brands getting onboard to give something back.

My Final Thoughts

I found the whole process of taking delivery and putting the mattress on the bed super easy and manageable to do alone. A huge bonus as I didn’t have to wait on anyone else helping me. One thing I will say is when I first unboxed it and placed it on the bed frame, it had a really strong smell. It look a few days for this to go away and I would leave it unmade where I could to help this.

This has been my first experience sleeping on a memory foam mattress and I’ve honestly loved it. I haven’t slept so well, on such a regular basis for a while. We were well overdue a new mattress so this came at the perfect time. On the first night I thought it was going to be too firm, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. I actually find it so comfortable and relaxing, I’ve never slept so well.

If you’re looking for a new mattress, I’d 100% recommend a Leesa mattress. Absolutely love mine and I’m totally converted to memory foam. Use code LITTLEMISSMEL for £100 off if you order one. (Not an afflink).

  4. I’ve heard so many good things about this company, their mattresses and their ethos. I would love to get a new mattress because Alan and I both suffer from back problems but sadly, even with your code, I think it’s out of our price range at the moment. Great review though, thank you, glad you’re loving your new mattress!

  5. I’ve been wanting a new mattress for so long. At the beginning of the post I’m over here like yes, so much twists and turns sometimes at night lol. For my bed I usually have to put soft comforters and sheets so that I’m comfortable. That’s because it’s such a firm bed❤️I love this review though. I’m going to look into this one.
