If you’re a regular reader you’ll know my love of a beauty subscription box. Over the years I have tried my fair share of them and there’s one thing I’ve come to realise. You will get some fab products, but I often find myself with an abundance of miniature products I don’t use. Dry shampoo seems a popular item to include. I’ve got enough cans of it to sink a small ship. No joke. Don’t get me wrong, I love that a subscription box allows you to explore products and brands you might not otherwise try. That’s one of the reasons I love them so much and I’ve found some fab products that way. My journey of the much-loved subscription box has lead me to Latest In Beauty.

Latest In Beauty is one of my favourite brands when it comes to subscription boxes. Not only do they have incredible curations or their own, but they are one of the few brands out there who give you full control when picking your products. They have an option to create your own subscription box with a huge selection of products on offer. The product selection is regularly updated so it is always current. They offer three packages. The Beauty Novice – You select three products for £9.00 per month. The Beauty Enthusiast – You select six products for £15.00 per month. Last but not least, The Beauty Guru – You select nine products for £18.00 per month.

My Final Cut

So I opted for The Beauty Enthusiast Box* and the task of selecting six products from the vast amount on offer was no easy task. I was back and forth and chopping and changing for a while before I selected my final cut. In the end, I tried to go for a variation of products and some I hadn’t yet tried, it’s all about exploring new brands right?

Makeup

My first pick was a new product to me, from Makeup Forever, see I told you they have great brands. I went for the Artist Rouge Creme lipstick in the shade C211, it is a beautiful cool-toned mauve shade. Despite being a miniature lipstick I still think it’s a generous size. My next item and staying on the theme of lip products is the cult classic, Carmex Lip Balm to keep my pout in great condition. This is actually a full-size product.

Skincare

Skincare next, and probably the easiest product I chose to include. This is from a brand I’ve been keen to try for a while, but haven’t because I have so much skincare to work through. I feel this is another cult product that is much-loved around the beauty world. I am of course talking about the Caudalie Vinosource Moisturising Sorbet. I’ve heard nothing but great things about this and I can’t wait to try it for myself, finally!!

Body & Haircare

On to the hair and body picks now. My first product is one which is already much-loved by myself and many others by L’Occitane, I’d probably use the word cult again. Of course, I’m talking about their hand cream, I opted for the Roses hand and nail cream. I cannot live without a good hand cream and they don’t come much better than this. This is the ideal size to pop in my small handbags.

Next up I went for a 30g tube of Sudocrem. I always have a tub of this to hand, but it isn’t very handbag friendly, as soon as I saw this it was added to the box. I swear by a good old helping of Sudocrem for many skin problem. A new and permanent addition to my handbag alongside my little hand cream.

My sixth and final product was a brand I’d not yet tried. I went for the Monoi Coconut Oil Hair Mask. Having picked a variety of products including makeup, skincare and body, a hair mask made perfect sense. I’m au fait with the benefits of coconut oil and already a fan, this mask could only do good things for my mane.
