Gift Guide: Hair Edit

(Features press samples & affiliate links)

It’s the most wonderful time of the year. Well almost. This can only mean one thing, gift buying season is well and truly upon us. The Christmas adverts are slowly but surely making their way onto our screens. The decorations are all over the shops. It really is beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Now I don’t know about you, but I do love a good gift guide post and I love to create them. Usually, I create more generalised posts. However, this year I’m taking a slightly different approach by creating more specific posts. In this post, I give you my Gift Guide – Hair Edit.

This gift guide is all about hair care products. Our hair is a sacred thing and it’s important that it is well maintained. If you have a hair junkie in your life this is the gift guide for you.

Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer

This really is the gift of luxury and it has to be one of the most sought after items for the hair lovers. It is an extravagant gift without a doubt but if this is within your price range it is the ultimate hair care gift and will no doubt score serious points! I have a full and more in-depth post on this here.

Cloud Nine Curling Wand

This is the ultimate tool to create beautiful beach waves or effortless curls with added volume. This versatile wand features a 25mm super-smooth, mineral-infused, coated barrel which leaves hair looking smooth and continued. The variable temperature control allows you to choose the heat best suited to your hair, for kinder styling and lasting results. The wand comes with a heat-resistant bag for use on the go and to safely store after use.

Philip Kingsley Elasticizer*

One of the holy grail hair products which is revered among haircare obsessives worldwide, and for good reason. I also am a huge advocate for this product. It leaves the lengths of the hair deeply nourished with a silky-soft texture and a shine that is to-die-for. The Rose & Lychee scent is incredible and leaves the hair beautifully scented.

The Body Shop Banana Shampoo & Conditioner

One of The Body Shop’s best selling duos and a personal favourite of mine. Ideal for all hair types this banana shampoo and conditioner is intensely nourishing to the hair leaving it hydrated and soft to the touch. Enriched with community trade organic banana puree from Ecuador and free from silicones it is easy to see why they are such loved products.

Coco & Eve Super Nourishing Coconut & Fig Hair Masque

Another great hair masque and it smells divine. Enriched with raw virgin coconut from Bali, fig essence, argan oil and shea butter, this unique formula is completely sulphate and paraben-free. It takes just 10 minutes to go from dry, parched hair to nourished, glossy, frizz-free locks.

The masque comes complete with a handheld brush to comb the masque through the lengths of the hair. It comes in a cute pink box to match the pink packaging of the products and makes the ideal gift for the hair junkie in your life.

Olaplex No 3 Hair Perfector

Let me introduce you to Olaplex. Starring a patented active ingredient that works on a molecular level, Olaplex formulas seek out broken bonds in the hair (which are caused by chemical, thermal and mechanical damage) and repair them, restoring compromised hair to former glory. Previously only available in salons, the Olpalex No 3 Hair Perfector is your first step towards stronger, softer, healthier hair. Used as a pre-shampoo treatment. This is the holy grail in hair care.

This Is Silk – Silk Hair Wrap*

Made from the finest, 100% silk, This is Silk Hair Wrap bids ‘bye-bye’ to bed-head, so you wake up each morning to smooth, glossy and frizz-free locks. Ultra-chic and comfortable to wear, The wrap cocoons hair (whether long or short) to extend the time between washes and blow-dries, minimise breakage and reduce the friction that contributes to split-ends and static.

Classic Wet Brush

A good detangling brush is a must for post washed hair. The Wet Brush will brush through wet hair with ease without damaging or breaking the hair. I don’t know how I ever managed before I had my Wet Brush.

That brings us to the end of this hair care gift guide. I hope you’ve found some great gift ideas from reading my gifty guide.

If you enjoyed this post, stay tuned for more gift guides coming soon.

In the meantime you might enjoy some I created last Christmas and you can read them here and here.
