5 Must Have Philip Kingsley Products

With iconic products with recognised global cult status to their name, Philip Kingsley is up there with some of the best hair care brands on the market. I for one am a huge fan of the brand and have found some real hero products.

Haircare has never been my strong point but brands like Philip Kingsley make having healthy, manageable hair easy, even for me. I can manage all of my hair concerns with their products. My hair is long, dry and a little coarse at the ends with some heat damage and dreaded split ends. It is fine and fly away in texture and lacks volume and life. I find the length can worsen the limp lifeless appearance by weighing my hair down. I often have an oily, itchy and flaky scalp to contend with too. Armed with all of the information about my hair the wonderful team at Philip Kingsley send out my tailored haircare range to manage my needs.

Elasticizer*

Every man and their dog raves about this wonder product. I mean it didn’t receive cult status without good reason. One of these award-winning babies sells every two minutes, that’s crazy! This revolutionary pre-shampoo treatment deeply conditions and nourishes every strand to deliver elasticity, manageability, bounce and shine to all hair textures. With frequent use, it improves hair strength, reduces breakage and increases shine. My hair has never looked and felt so good with this cult product. After discovering the Elasticizer it has become a much-loved part of my hair routine that I will never be without.

My hair is quite dry on the ends and has more split ends than I care to admit but this mask leaves it tamed and looking healthier than ever. I find that it also reduces split ends and further damage occurring by strengthening my hair. I try to make sure I use this once a week to maintain lasting benefits and keep my hair healthy. I firmly believe that if you have hair, you should own a pot of Elasticizer.

Flaky Itchy Scalp Shampoo*

This shampoo is a godsend let me tell you. I can sometimes suffer from a really sensitive scalp that is often itchy and flakey. Not ideal by any means. One use of this leaves my irritable scalp soothed, flake-free but most importantly, itch-free! Another huge plus point is the smell, it smells like any regular shampoo. If like myself you suffer from a temperamental scalp you’ll be well aware of how offensive some targeted shampoos can smell. I’m looking at you coal tar. Now some people love this but I’m not one of them, I don’t hate it either but there’s no escaping the strong scent.

Using Flaky Scalp shampoo has been a real game-changer for me. It is the only shampoo I reach for on the days I need to bring calm and restore harmony to my scalp. I couldn’t be without it and I would recommend it to anyone who suffers from a flaky or itchy scalp. You won’t regret it.

Body Building Shampoo*

On the days when my scalp is behaving itself, I use the Body Building shampoo. My hair is quite fine and fly away which means it lacks volume and oomph. I hate using a multitude of products after washing and conditioning as I find they weigh it down. This shampoo is yet another game-changing product for me. It gives me great volume and lift without feeling weighed down by product if anything it feels weightless. This shampoo transforms my limp flat hair into hair that is full of life and bounce. Not only that but the volume lasts too. I’d even go as far as to say that my hair actually feels thicker and healthier when I use this too. A must-have if like me you need the lift and bounce put back into your locks.

Moisture Balancing Conditioner*

This is the perfect conditioner for my combination hair and scalp type. It offers hydration on the lengths of my hair while maintaining a happy balance on top. My roots never feel weighed down by this conditioner which is a real plus for me. Since using this I have really noticed that my hair is super shiny and soft which of course we all want. Am I right or am I right? Not only that but it is also formulated with anti-static ingredients to tame my pesky flyaways too. It is the conditioner that keeps on giving.

I really love this and my hair does too. It looks healthier with a noticeable shine, it feels stronger and is prone to considerably less breakage too. It manages all of this while keeping my oily roots at bay too.

Daily Damage Defense Conditioning Spray*

This has been a real godsend let me tell you. I use to rely solely on my trusty Wet Brush to brush my wet hair as gently as possible. I always did feel that it did a gentle job too. That was until I used this spray in my hair before I brushed. Oh my goodness, what a stark contrast I noticed right off the bat. I could brush my hair with minimal breakage, pulling, discomfort and tugging. The brush glided through my freshly washed locks with an ease I’d never felt until now.
