Christmas Gift Guide The Lifestyle Edit

(Features press & affiliate links)

It’s officially gift guide season!! Welcome to my Christmas Gift Guide lifestyle edit. I can hardly believe it’s that time of year myself if I’m honest. What a year it’s been. I think we could all use extra cheer this year. As we all know, “the best way to spread Christmas cheer, is singing loud for all to hear” thanks to Buddy. However, I’m not gonna put you through that so I’m spreading cheer earlier than usual this year by way of my Christmas gift guides and today I’m sharing my lifestyle edit.

In this Christmas Gift Guide Lifestyle Edit, you will find a variety of gifts to hopefully suit a variety of people. So without further ado let’s get gifting.

Google Nest Mini

I’m sure I’m guilty of not using this to its full potential but it was such a great buy. It connects to my phone via WiFi and an app and I can stream all of my music, radio stations, podcasts, etc through the Google Nest mini. It’s so small and discreet too and I love how the voice command makes it so user-friendly. I think this is a fab universal gift that so many people would love. I love to listen to music around the house and this is perfect!

Kindle Paperwhite

This is another great universal gift if you have a bookworm to buy for. The Kindle Paperwhite is super lightweight and perfect for travelling. It’s waterproof too so you can read in the tub safe in the knowledge it won’t die should it fall in. One charge lasts weeks! Weeks! On top of that, it can hold thousands of books and comes complete with a backlight for evening reading.

Toy Story Alien Socks*

Most of us need and wear socks, right? Well, what’s better than novelty socks? Why wear plain socks when there are so many jazzy socks to choose from? Truffle Shuffle has got you covered in the sock department, I mean just take a look at these Toy Story socks adorned in Little Green Men aliens!! They’re sooooo friggggin cute I can’t handle it!

Disney Villains Evil Queen Cauldron Bath Fizzer*

There’s never been a better time of year to indulge in long, hot baths. Baths are so much better when they’re filled with bath time treats like bath bombs or bubble bars. Sticking with Truffle Shuffle again for this Evil Queen Cauldron bath Bomb. I don’t know about you but there’s just something so satisfying about watching the bath Bomb fizzle and turn the bathwater into all kinds of colours.

Pyjamas

I’m a big pyjama fan so I couldn’t put together a lifestyle gift ideas post without including a pair. There’s never been a better time of year to indulge in all things cosy and these pyjamas from Primark are made from the cosiest material! They’re perfect for snuggling up under a blanket for movie nights.

Jewellery

Jewellery is a beautiful gift idea and one I don’t think you can go wrong with. It’s something that can be worn and enjoyed long after Christmas. It’s a very personal gift and I for one love to receive a beautiful piece on Christmas morning. Daisy London has collaborated with Estee Lalonde on a jewellery range and it is to-die-for! You’ll be spoiled for choice. I adore the Sunburst pieces most, they have a real vintage vibe about them. I couldn’t resist the gorgeous Sunburst Shield Hoop Earrings* in 18Ct gold plating.

Another jewellery brand I am loving lately is a new business created by fellow blogger Cally. She created Constellation Co and has a beautiful collection of necklaces and earrings inspired by the stars. I couldn’t resist picking up some of the necklaces. It’s also a great way to shop small and support local small businesses at this difficult time. My personal favourites from the collection are the Eclipse Carved Moon necklace, the Multi-Layered Gold Chain and the Luna Moon and Stars Coin necklace.

Molton Brown Juniper Jazz Bath & Shower Gel

Molton Brown’s festive offerings are something I look forward to. MB shower gels are some of my all-time favourites, especially at Christmas time. Muddled Plum has long been a firm favourite of mine, that was until they gave us Juniper Jazz. Oh my goodness, it is divine! It features a gorgeous scent combination of juniper berries, metallic and woody notes with a creamy sandalwood base. The best bit, the deep purple/blue formula is FULL of sparkling glitter! This is the ultimate Christmas shower gel!

Elizabeth Scarlett Makeup Bag

Elizabeth Scarlett has been one of my favourite brand discoveries of the last year. They have some truly stunning pieces. My personal favourites are the makeup bags, pouches and eye masks. The designs are beautiful. The African Palmier design is one of my favourites and it looks fab on the makeup bag I picked up. It’s a great piece to use in a variety of ways which is why I believe it will make a wonderful gift.

Nivea Soft Rose Collection Gift Set*

The winter weather can be harsh on our skin and we need to give it a little extra TLC. Who better to care for our skin than Nivea? They have a whole host of beautifully curated gift sets so we can give the gift of great skin. I can’t get enough of rose in skincare, it’s so nourishing and smells divine. My favourite offering from Nivea has to be their Soft Rose Collection full of goodies to nourish from top to toe.

Daisy London Sunburst Hoop Earrings

Tropic Skincare Joy Drum – Unwind Me Gift Set*

It might very well be the most wonderful time of the year, but that said it can also be a busy and stressful time of year too. This is the perfect gift to help unwind with the use of soothing lavender in every product. This set includes So Sleepy Luxury Bath Foam 100ml, So Sleepy Whipped Body Velvet 50ml and So Sleepy Temple Roll-On 10ml. Lavender is the perfect scent to help with sleep and relaxation after the busy hustle and bustle of the festive period. This set comes beautifully packaged and ready to go under the tree.

Gaston Luga Parlan Backpack*

I’m a big fan of the classic backpack and Gaston Luga really excels when it comes to backpacks. I adore this simple, classic and chic backpack with gold hardware detailing. It is a lightweight, water-resistant black nylon fabric which makes it super durable and practical too. It has two front pockets for handy essentials and the main compartment features a drawstring with magnetic flap closure.

YSL Libre Eau De Parfum

A bottle of perfume is another great and universal gift that you can’t go far wrong with, assuming you know the scent preference of your loved one. YSL has a great range of fragrances and their packaging is always beautifully presented. I may be biased because I adore YSL scents but I cannot recommend one of their more recent additions Libre enough. Libre is a floral fragrance with a twist featuring orange blossom and lavender to create this intoxicating and unique scent.

Marks and Spencer Christmas Snow Globe Gin

Tis’ the season to be merry falalalalalalalaa! What better way to be merry than with the help of good old gin? What better gin than that with gold flakes and bottled in an actual light-up snow globe? The only decision you will have to make is the flavour, clementine, or rhubarb. Marks and Spencer have hands down the best festive gin! It’s almost too pretty to actually open and drink but you best believe that I will drink it.

That just about wraps up my 2020 Christmas gift guide – Lifestyle edit. I hope that you have found it helpful and taken some gift ideas away.
